Add room temperature water filled to the top of the vase upon arrival.
Empty out the water once it looks murky, every two days or so. Refill with fresh, room temperature water.
Keep the flowers away from direct light source or sunlight, any heat source or drafts.
Upon arrival, cut flowers 1″ on an angle with a sharp knife or clippers.
Place flowers in room temperature water with Chrysal (provided with purchase).
Every 2-3 days, snip a 1/2″ off the ends & change the water… your blooms can last up to twice as long!
Orchids prefer lower water levels, so watering once 8 to 10 days is all you need. If the leaves begin to yellow, you may be over watering the plant. You can remove the yellowed leaves as needed. However, they do prefer high humidity levels, so a daily misting around the blooms but not directly on the blooms will do wonders.
Orchids require medium light. Try to place your plant in a location with indirect natural light. If the foliage begins to brown, your plant may be receiving too much direct sunlight, thus burning the plant. Fertilize approximately once a month with Orchid Food.
